Modern wooden stairs.
Bucher System
For millions of people to rely on.
Wooden stairs differ not only in materials, but – above all – in construction.
The Bucher System® is ingenious because it by-passes conventions. Individual treads seem to float, as there were no visible mountings to the wall.
Metal pins with rubber cover are installed in the wall, and they support the treads.
Bucher System stairs combine elegance, functionality and high stability, while meeting all the aesthetic requirements. As we resigned from wooden joints, it was possible to completely eliminate squeaking when walking. This is not possible with any other design. The use of the quintessential elements – treads mounted in the wall on rubber sleeves that mute, and strong handrail – gives the impression of lightness, space and light. It can be installed on any wall type. As an exception, drywalls need to be enhanced with a so-called stake.
